A brief history of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway Elroy-St. Paul mainline:

06/26/21

This three span deck girder crosses Wilson Creek and 106th Street just west of Knapp.
Built in 1912 during a double tracking project, the bridge consists of three deck girder spans, supported by concrete substructures. The center span is 60 feet long, while the west approach is 30 feet long and the east approach 40 feet long.
It is double tracked, although only one track is currently used. The northern track is now used as an access road.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. No significant deterioration was noted. The bridge is also one of many similar along the line.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
